मध्य प्रदेश में महागठबंधन के लिये उठक पटक जारी है। 22 सीटों पर बीएसपी ने ऐतराज जताते हुए कांग्रेस से अलग चुनाव लड़ने की घोषणा कर दी थी, और कुछ प्रत्याशी भी घोषित कर दिये थे किंतु बात अंदर ही अंदर लगातार चल रही है । मध्य प्रदेश में कांग्रेस की स्थिति प्रबल मानी जा रही है। कांग्रेस इसी वजह से यहाँ महा गठबंधन पर जोर नहीं दे रही। बीएसपी और सपा का प्रभाव यूपी बार्डर वाली कुछ सीटों पर कुछ हद तक है किंतु वास्तविक जंग वहाँ कांग्रेस और भाजपा में ही है।
जनता और प्रत्याशी गठबंधन के आसार को लेकर दुविधा में हैं। बसपा के बाद सपा ने भी सीटों के तालमेल न होने पर जीजीपी के साथ लड़ने का फैसला किया है।
यह जल्दी ही साफ हो जायेगा कि गठबंधन होगा या नहीं!
गठबंधन के लिये कांग्रेस को शायद ही मध्य प्रदेश व राजस्थान में जरूरत पड़े। पार्टी के अपने सर्वे के अनुसार यहाँ वह अकेले ही विजित अवस्था में आ रही है शायद इसी वजह से सीटों के तालमेल को लेकर वह ज्यादा झुकने को तैयार नहीं। जीजीपी का भी कुछ सीटों पर अपना मूल वोटबैंक है। इसी वजह से गठबंधन के आसार न दिखने पर सपा और बसपा जीजीपी के साथ मिलकर चुनाव लड़ने को तैयार हैं। सपा और बसपा का कुछ प्रभाव यूपी से सटे कुछ ही सीटों पर है। अतः गठबंधन न होने के चलते वह खुद को मजबूत स्थिति में लाने के लिये जीजीपी के अलावा विधानसभा सीटों पर जिताऊ प्रत्याशी की तलाश शुरू कर दी है। और इन सीटों पर वह जिताऊ प्रत्याशियों पर ही अपना दाँव लगायेंगे न कि टिकट लेने के शोर्स और सिफारिश वाले प्रत्याशियों पर। फिर भी चुनाव होने के पूर्व तक अंदरखाने से गठबंधन के लिये प्रयास जारी रहेंगे। जीजीपी का जिस तरह एमपी के कई क्षेत्र में प्रभाव है उसी तरह एमपी के सागर संभाग में अकेले एक व्यक्ति का प्रभाव है वो बिना दल बनाये खुद में एक दल सा है। यह उसकी पाँच साल की जनसेवा और कार्यशैली का नतीजा है कि वह सागर संभाग की कई विधानसभा सीटों को प्रभावित करने का दम खम रखता है। एक विस्तृत और जमीनी सर्वे पर यह बात पूर्णतः सत्य साबित हो रही है। ऐसे वन मैन आर्मी पर एक खास नजर डालते हैं।
मध्य प्रदेश का एक ऐसा जिला जहां लोग बड़े दलों पर विश्वास खो चुके हैं। आजादी के बाद से आज तक जन आपेक्षित विकास नहीं हो सका। कई मूलभूत सुविधाओं से वंचित यह जिला खुद को पिछड़ा और ठगा सा महसूस कर रहा है। इन सब के बीच यहाँ एक उम्मीद की किरण और इंतजार की लौ लोगों के दिलों में लगातार पाँच वर्षों से जल रही है। इंतजार की यह लौ और उम्मीद की इस किरण का नाम पन्ना के किसी भी आमजन के मुख से सुना जा सकता है।जनहितों के लिये लगातार पाँच वर्षों से संघर्ष, पन्ना व वहाँ के लोगों के लिये इतना अपनापन किसी लालच या लोभ के लिये तो कतई न था। हाँ! वर्ष 2013 के आमचुनाव में पन्ना से मिले प्यार और स्नेह के कारण उसे यहाँ जनहित के लिये लड़ने को प्रेरित किया। यह लड़ाई उस शख्स की ज़िंदगी का अहम् हिस्सा बन गयी। सच में ऐसे लोगों की संख्या यदा-कदा ही है। यही राजपूताना खून की असली पहचान भी है।
अपने पिता से ईमानदारी और असहाय वर्ग की मदद का उत्तराधिकार ही उसका अभिमान है। आज की राजनीति में ऐसे उदाहरण विरले ही होते हैं कि एक ऐसा शख्स पाँच बार विधायक दो बार एक बड़े राज्य में मंत्री रहे, फिर भी संपत्ति और धन के नाम पर कुछ न रहे। ऐसे ईमानदार और अपने जिले के हर वंचित वर्गों और जन-जन के नेता के इस सुपुत्र में भी यह गुण रक्त के साथ उसके शरीर में रग-रग में बह रहे हैं।
अपने इन्हीं गुणों और कर्तव्यनिष्ठा के बदौलत पन्ना के जन-जन के दिलों में यह शख्स एक उम्मीद बनकर धड़क रहा है। पन्ना के विकास और उसे मूलभूत सुविधाओं से वास्तव में जो रू-ब-रू करायेगा, लोगों में ऊँच-नीच का भेद मिटाकर एक समतामूलक समाज का वातावरण जो पन्ना में स्थापित कर जायेगा, उस शख्स पर ही इस बार पन्ना जिला अपना विश्वास जता रहा है।
पन्ना ही नहीं सागर संभाग की 4 विधानसभा सीटों में अकेला कोई एक व्यक्ति एक दल के बराबर हैसियत रखने वाला बन जाता है। यह संभव हुआ वहाँ की जनता के भरोसे और प्यार के साथ उस व्यक्ति की निरंतर पंचवर्षीय तपस्या व कार्यशैली से।
वर्तमान राजनीति में ऐसा देखने को बहुत कम मिलता है शायद इसी वजह से यह लेखनी स्वतः एक व्यक्ति पर केंद्रित हो गयी। पन्ना के हर वर्ग के लोगों से कुछ पूछताछ के बाद ही उस शख्स के बारे में काफी कुछ सुनने के बाद ही वास्तव में मेरे न चाहते हुए भी वो इस लेखन में स्वतः ही नायक के रूप में स्थापित हो गया।
क्योंकि केंद्रित विषय ही वह शख्स, उसकी कार्यशैली और यूपी से जुड़ा एमपी का जिला पन्ना है। वर्ष 2013 के आमचुनाव में 16 दिन के अपने अभूतपूर्व संघर्ष के बदौलत बीएसपी प्रत्याशी रहे लोधी महेंद्रपाल वर्मा उपविजेता बनकर लगातार लोगों की सेवा में लग गये।
उपविजेता बनाने का परिणाम वहाँ की जनता ने देखा अब विजेता के रूप में वर्मा को अजमाना चाहती है।। क्योंकि आजतक इस क्षेत्र में न विजेता न उपविजेता किसी ने जनहितों के लिये ऐसी मेहनत और आंदोलन नहीं किये, किसी ने जनसमस्याओं का वास्तविक समाधान नहीं किया, इनमें से सब केवल चुनाव के वक्त ही लोगों के समक्ष आये और तमाम वादे कर के भूल गये होंगे। किंतु लोधी महेंद्रपाल वर्मा के रूप में पन्ना को एक ऐसा शख्स मिल गया है जो वास्तव में उनके हर दुःख दर्द का साथी है। शायद वहाँ के लोगों की जुबाँ से इसी वजह से लोधी महेंद्रपाल वर्मा का नाम सहज ही निकल आता है।
पन्ना जिले की अधिकांश जनता के साथ सागर संभाग के भी पिछड़े और शोषित वर्ग के लोग भी दलों से इतर हटकर लोधी महेंद्रपाल वर्मा की जीत के लिये दुआ कर रहे हैं। आज के दौर में जनता में नेता के प्रति और नेता में जनता के प्रति ऐसा स्नेह बहुत ही कम देखने को मिलता है।
