    दिल्ली में सिर्फ सीएनजी वाहनों की ही एंट्री

    नई दिल्ली, 13 नवंबर 2018: उच्चतम न्यायालय द्वारा नियुक्त ईपीसीए ने चेतावनी दी है कि दिल्ली में यदि वायु गुणवत्ता का खराब होना जारी रहा तो वह गैर सीएनजी वाणिज्यिक एवं निजी वाहनों पर भी पूर्ण रोक लगा देगा। पर्यावरण संरक्षण नियंत्रण प्राधिकरण (ईपीसीए) अध्यक्ष भूरे लाल ने दिल्ली, हरियाणा और उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्रियों को लिखे पत्र में कहा कि वाहन स्टीकर लागू नहीं किये गये हैं और इसके बिना डीजल और अन्य ईंधन वाले वाहनों के बीच अंतर करना संभव नहीं है।

    लाल ने एक पत्र में कहा कि ऐसी परिस्थिति में जब मौसम प्रतिकूल बना हुआ है और वायु गुणवत्ता की वर्तमान स्थिति ‘‘बहुत खराब’’ और ‘‘गंभीर श्रेणी’’ में बनी हुई है तब सीएनजी पर चलने वाले वाहनों को छोड़कर निजी और वाणिज्यिक वाहनों के चलने पर पूर्ण रोक का निर्देश देने के अलावा अन्य कोई विकल्प नहीं है।

    उन्होंने कहा कि यद्यपि सीएनजी वाहनों के पास स्टीकर हैं और यह भी समझा जाता है कि सभी सार्वजनिक परिवहन वाहन सीएनजी चालित हैं। इस स्थिति में ये वाहन आवागमन के लिए उपलब्ध होंगे। यह दूसरी बार है कि लाल ने वाहनों से प्रदूषण का मुद्दा उठाया है। उन्होंने 31 अक्टूबर को सभी निजी वाहनों पर रोक का प्रस्ताव किया था लेकिन इस बार उन्होंने सभी गैर सीएनजी वाणिज्यिक और निजी वाहनों पर रोक का प्रस्ताव किया है।
