लखनऊ, 27 सितम्बर 2018: बीबीएयू विवि में एक होनहार दलित छात्र को अथक प्रयास करने के बाद भी हॉस्टल में कमरा न मिला तो वो विवि में तंबू लगाकर रहने को मजबूर हो गया। लेकिन इसके बावजूद भी विवि प्रशासन का दिल अपने इस छात्र के लिए नहीं पसीजा और यह आधिकारिक रूप से यह बयान दिया कि इस तरह तो पूरे विवि में दिखेंगे तम्बू ही तम्बू! वास्तव में कहा जाये तो आज के ज़माने में छात्र और शिक्षक के बीच कुछ इसी तरह के तार तार करते रिश्ते दिख रहे हैं।
एक प्रेस रिलीज़ के माध्यम से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार रोहित सिंह जो एमए शिक्षा शास्त्र प्रथम वर्ष का छात्र है, और साथ मे बीपीएल कार्ड धारक है, उन्होंने अपनी आर्थिक स्थिति का हवाला देते हुए छात्रावास न मिलने से विश्वविद्यालय के प्रांगड़ में तंबू लगाकर रहने की अनुमति मांगी थी। इसके अलावा तंबू का सामान मांगने के लिए 31 अगस्त को एक प्रार्थना पत्र डीएसडव्लू, कुलसचिव और कुलपति को भी दिया था। लेकिन कई प्रार्थना पत्र देने के बाद भी उसे कमरा अलॉट नहीं हुआ।
छात्रों ने हॉस्टल में गरीब छात्र रोहित को रूम न मिलने के पीछे वजह बताते हुए कहा क़ि उसकी गलती मात्र इतनी है कि वह दलित वर्ग का है। छात्र का आरोप है कि अगस्त से ही वह विश्वविद्यालय के जिम्मेदार अधिकारियों के चक्कर लगा रहा है लेकिन उसे किसी भी छात्रावास में आज तक प्रवेश नही दिया गया जबकि छात्र का आरोप है कि आज भी छात्रावासों में कमरे खाली है।
पीड़ित छात्र विश्वविद्यालय में शिक्षा शास्त्र से परास्नातक का छात्र है। छात्र रोहित कहना है कि उनके समकक्ष या सीनियर छात्र ने उसकी मदद की कोशिश की तो उसको भी विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन ने नोटिस जारी कर दिया है। छात्र का कहना है कि जब वह डीएसडब्लू में शिकायत करने गया तो दलित होने की वजह से उसकी कोई सुनवाई नही हुई।
दलित छात्र रोहित का कहना है कि हमने राष्ट्रीय अनुसूचित जाति आयोग में भी गुहार लगाई । लेकिन कोई सुनवाई नहीं हुई। तभी मजबूर इधर उधर भटकने से अच्छा तंबू लगाकर रहने लगा। विवि के अन्य शोधार्थी छात्र बसन्त कनौजिया का कहना है कि मैं पिक्षले वर्ष विवि टॉपर छात्र था दलित छात्र होने की वजह से मेरा दाखिला लेने से मना किया था उसके बाद कोर्ट का दरवाजा खटखटाया उसके बाद प्रवेश मिला। लेकिन हॉस्टल देने से मना किया लेकिन लड़ाई लड़ी उसके बाद हॉस्टल मिला था। विवि में दलित छात्रो को मानसिक रूप से कमजोर किया जा रहा है।
