पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने आरोप लगाया है कि दिल्ली दंगा से ध्यान भटकाने के लिए मोदी सरकार कोरोना वायरस का हौवा खड़ा कर रही है। ममता बनर्जी ने कोलकाता में कार्यकर्ताओं को संबोधित करते हुए यह बात कही। सीएम ममता ने कहा, कोई नहीं जानता है कि दिल्ली दंगा में कितने लोगों की मौत हुई। लोगों का ध्यान भटकाने के लिए वे (केंद्र सरकार) टीवी चैनल की मदद से कोरोना वायरस का हौवा खड़ा कर रहे हैं। उनका मकसद है कि लोग यह नहीं पूछे कि वास्तव में कितने लोगों की मौत हुई है।
सीएम ने कहा, बंगाल में चूहा भी काट ले तो ये लोग (बीजेपी वाले) सीबीआई जांच की मांग करते हैं। वहीं, दिल्ली में इतने लोगों की हत्या हुई, इसको लेकर कोई न्यायिक जांच नहीं हुई। मैं सुप्रीम कोर्ट के जजों के द्वारा न्यायिक जांच की मांग करती हूं।
उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली हिंसा के बाद अभी भी 700 से अधिक लोग लापता हैं। दिल्ली में स्थिति ठीक नहीं है। कई लोग बेघर हो गए। नालों से लाश निकल रहे हैं। उन्होंने दिल्ली दंगा को नरसंहार बताते हुए कार्यकर्ताओं से कहा कि इसे हिंसा नहीं, नरसंहार के रूप में प्रचारित करें।
