नई दिल्ली, 24 अक्टूबर 2018: विशाखापत्तनम में विराट कोहली ने बुधवार को वनडे में सबसे तेज दस हजार रन बनाते हुए सचिन तेंडुलकर के वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड को भी तोड़ दिया है। भारतीय टीम के कप्तान विराट कोहली ने वेस्टइंडीज के खिलाफ विशाखापत्तनम वनडे में इस बड़ी उपलब्धि को हासिल किया। इसके साथ ही वह दस हजार रन बनाने वाले देश के चौथे बल्लेबाज बन गये है।
विराट बने दस हजार रन बनाने वाले चौथे बल्लेबाज:
विराट कोहली वनडे मैच में दस हजार से ज्यादा रन बनाने वाले भारत के चौथे बल्लेबाज हैं। इससे पहले सचिन तेंदुलकर, सौरव गांगुली और महेंद्र सिंह धौनी का नाम इस फेहरिस्त में शामिल है।
सचिन का तोड़ा विश्व रिकॉर्ड:
बता दें कि आक्रामक धुआंधार बल्लेबाजी के लिए जाने-जाने वाले कोहली ने कई रिकॉर्ड्स बनाये और तोड़े। बुधवार को विशाखापत्तनम में भारत के महानतम बल्लेबाज और क्रिकेट के भगवान माने जाने वाले सचिन रमेश तेंदुलकर के एक बड़े वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड को तोड़ कर नया कीर्तिमान स्थापित कर दिया।
विराट कोहली ने वेस्टइंडीज के खिलाफ दूसरे वनडे में 81 रन बनाते ही मास्टर ब्लास्टर सचिन तेंदुलकर के वनडे क्रिकेट में सबसे तेज 10 हजार रनों के वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड को तोड़ दिया।. तेंदुलकर ने 266वां वनडे खेलते हुए 259वीं पारी में सबसे तेज 10 हजार वनडे रन बनाने का वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड बनाया था। जबकि विराट कोहली ने 213 वनडे की 205 पारियों में 10 हजार रनों का आंकड़ा पार कर दिया। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने ना सिर्फ सचिन के रिकॉर्ड को तोड़ा बल्कि सबसे तेज 10 हजार रन बनाने का नया वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड भी बना दिया।
