हवा में घुला प्रदूषण का जहर हमारे स्वास्थ्य के लिए काफ खतरनाक होता है। शुद्ध हवा न होने की वजह से कई तरहों की समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ सकता है। हमारी कुछ गलतियों की वजह से घर की हवा भी अशुद्ध हो जाती है। स्वस्थ और फिट रहने के लिए शुद्ध हवा का होना बहुत जरूरी है। इसलिए घर की हवा को शुद्ध बनाने के लिए इन गलतियों को सुधारना बहुत जरूरी है। इन गलतियों की वजह से हमारे स्वास्थ्य पर बुरा असर पड़ने लगता है।
- सर्दियों में घर में आग सर्दी के मौसम में कई लोग घर में कोयले और लकड़ी को जलाने की व्यवस्था भी कर लेते हैं। इस आग से घर में फैलने वाले प्रदूषणकारी तत्वों से फेफड़ों और गले को नुकसान भी हो सकता है। धूम्रपान करने से हो सकता है नुकसान घर में धूम्रपान करने से धूम्रपान करने वाले के साथ ही घर के सदस्यों को भी नुकसान पहुंच सकता है।

- घर में पालतू जानवर हैं तो इन बातों का रखें ध्यान अगर आपके घर में पालतू जानवर हैं तो उनकी साफ सफाई का विशेष ध्यान रखें। पालतू जानवरों को रोज नहलाएं और उनका बिस्तर भी साफ रखें। पालतू जानवरों को अपने बेडरूम से बाहर रखें।

- घर के प्रवेश द्वार पर डोर मैट बिछाएं घर के प्रवेश द्वार पर डोर मैट जरूर बिछाएं। घर पर आने वाले सभी सदस्यों से डोर मैट का इस्तेमाल करने के लिए बोलें। कैमिकल युक्त चीजों से परहेज करें कई लोग घर से दुर्गध को दूर करने के लिए एयर फ्रेशनर, अगरबत्ती, धूप और तमाम खुशबूदार चीजों का इस्तेमाल करने लगते हैं, परंतु ये सभी कैमिकल युक्त चीजें स्वास्थ्य के लिए हानिकारक होती हैं। इन चीजों के इस्तेमाल से परहेज करें।
- वैक्यूम क्लीनर का इस्तेमाल करें घर में झाडू का इस्तेमाल करने से धूल के कण हवा में उड़ने लगते हैं, जिससे फेफड़ों को नुकसान हो सकता है। घर में झाडू की जगह वैक्यूम क्लीनर का इस्तेमाल करें।
- साफ-सफाई के लिए माइक्रोबर डस्टिंग क्लोथ का इस्तेमाल करें । किचन से लेकर फर्नीचर की साफ सफई के लिए माइक्रोबर डस्टिंग क्लोथ का इस्तेमाल करें। कॉटन की तुलना में माइक्रोबर डस्टिंग क्लोथ ज्यादा कणों को समेट सकता है। घर के खिड़की और दरवाजे खुले रखें शुद्ध हवा के लिए घर के खिड़की और दरवाजे खुले रखने चाहिए। घर में वेंटिलेशन की पर्याप्त सुविधा होनी चाहिए।
