ग़ज़ल संग्रह: ‘प्यास बुझती नहीं समन्दर से’ की एक ग़ज़ल से चंद शेर-
बेज़ुबां को ज़ुबान देना है,
हाथ में संविधान देना है।
ज़ंग खाए हुए दिमाग हैं जो,
उन छुरों पे भी सान देना है।
बुज़दिलों का बयान आया है,
अब सुरक्षा पे ध्यान देना है।
बेबसों के ढहा दिए ठीहे ,
साहबों को मकान देना है /
दो शेर-
सब बैठे हैं ख़ौफ़ज़दा,
सच को सच कह पाए कौन?
राजा बिल्कुल नंगा है,
जाकर उसे बताए कौन?

क्यों उसी रोज़ भूख लगती है,
घर में जब रोटियां नहीं होतीं।
खिलखिलाहट को तरस जाते हैं,
जिनके घर बेटियाँ नहीं होतीं।
दो शेर-
एक दीवानगी बुने रहिए,
सामने तख़्त है तने रहिए।
ख़ौल उट्ठेगा इंकलाब अभी,
और कुछ देर गुनगुने रहिए।
तुफ़ है इस बेबसी पे लानत है,
आदमी हो के झुनझुने रहिए?
