राहुल गांधी की ज़ुबान फिसल गई, राजस्थान में चुनाव प्रचार के दौरान कुंभाराम को कुंभकरण कह गए। मज़ाक बनना लाज़िमी था। राहुल गांधी पप्पू हैं, यह कहने वालों को एक मौका और मिल गया। अब महामहिम मोदी जी कहां ऐसा मौक़ा चूकने वाले थे। प्रचार के आखिरी दिन चुनाव सभा में चुटकी ले ही ली। मीडिया ने भी उछाल दिया। कहा-राहुल ने फिर सेल्फ गोल कर दिया।
मोदी जी और उनके प्रिय मीडिया दोनों को जानी राजकुमार का अमर डायलॉग याद दिलाने की ज़रूरत है- चिनाय सेठ, जिनके घर शीशे के हों, वो दूसरों पे पत्थर नहीं फेंका करते।
जिन्होंने गुरु नानक, गुरु गोरखनाथ और कबीरदास जी की मीटिंग करवा दी हो, सिकंदर से लेकर तक्षशिला तक इतिहास को उलट-पलट दिया हो, वह दूसरों के युग बोध पर चुटकी लेते हैं तो यह देसी कहावत याद आ जाती है- सूप तो सूप, चलनी बोले जामें बहत्तर छेद।
