भारत में पेट्रोल डीजल के साथ गैस की बढ़ती कीमतों ने लोगों की कमर तोड़ कर रख दी हैं हर तरफ महंगाई के ही चर्चे हैं और आम आदमी की जेब कटौती की ही बात हो रही हैं फ़िलहाल रहत के आसार अभी दूर दूर तक नहीं दिख रहे हैं। ऐसे में लोग बस यही बात बोल रहे हैं कि महंगाई डायन रोज खाए जात है। देखें कार्टून पंच में –
